Abstract

Fans and creators have traditionally treated fanworks with a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. However, Supernatural incorporates fans and their creative works into the show itself, changing the status quo of the fan/creator relationship.

Jules Wilkinson is the same age as Doctor Who and two years older than Star Trek. She's a fan and writer. Jules is also an administrator on the Supernatural Wiki.
