A great article

> But most fan works seek to unite the analytical mind and the desiring body in order to create a total female subjectivity.I love this -- the story of Number One is powerful and convincing, and the representation of vidders and slash writers here is one I agree with.
The description of women working together [4.9] is wonderful: it makes me proud to be reading this and be involved in this community, jealous because I wasn't there and I've never met those women and heard their stories, and admiring because wow, how cool! How competent they are!
The images and clips work really well in the article -- I've been frustrated so many times when an essay analyses visuals and I have no idea what they look like.
Thank you also for going through in detail the Quantum Leap vid: you make very clear the critical and subversive approach of the vidders that I probably wouldn't have realised otherwise. (And now I feel awed all over again. Yay vidding and the amazing vidders!)
