...for writing up and positioning this cohesive history. I didn't know about this at all, I've only been hearing about the vidding tradition in bits and pieces very recently. Now I feel both enlightened and impressed -- much like Paceus, I am awed and excited to hear about the early vidding collectives! It's so important to un-earth and present this piece of female, fannish history to non-insiders (like me, heh.) So, thank you.
I am now pretty interested to see vidding contrasted to other visual remix forms, like AMVs!
