As someone just beginning to write about vids in an academic capacity, I very much appreciate the strong theoretical foundation for future work that you establish here, not to mention your nuanced and insightful close readings. (It's amazing what a difference it makes to have vids and vidding discussed by someone familiar with the community!) I'm particularly grateful for your correction of Coyle's misreading of "Closer" and your explication of vidding as "a form of collaborative critical thinking."
